I love the Bigfoot phenomena it is by far my most favorite cryptid mystery. But due to the fact there are so many hoaxes out there I don’t really feel the need to cover any of the recent Bigfoot sightings. But one thing that really interest me is the older Bigfoot sightings. I find these to be more credible as back then nobody really knew what Bigfoot or Sasquatch was, making it far less likely to be a hoax.

Through out time there have been ton’s of  stories and legends about man eating plant’s.  It might sound crazy but there are plants out there that do eat or absorb living things, such as the venus fly trap. So it might not be that crazy for one to believe at one time in our history there could have actually been man eating plant’s. The U-28 Encounter:

During World War 1 a British steamer was patrolling off the coast of Ireland when it was attacked by a u-28 German submarine. The steamer tried it’s best to escape but the U-28 managed to get in two direct hits and the British steamer sank shortly after. The sinking would be all but forgotten today if it was not for a very odd sighting that was later found in the captain’s log. The captain wrote that he was standing on the submarine’s tower watching the British steamer sink. As it was sinking he heard a very large explosion, possibly caused by the ship’s boiler.
