The Island Of The Dolls Mexico

The trees of this island near Mexico City are strung with thousands of dolls. The islands only resident discovered the body of a little girl in one of its canals more than 50 years ago. On that same day he found a doll floating in the same canal, so in tribute to the dead girl he hung it on a nearby tree. This is the first of thousands of dolls he would string up over time. Some believe that theses dolls are evil, but others believe that they safeguard the island. Continue reading→
